True Lies & Open Secrets

I’m totally keeping my cool, but I still can’t get over the fact that he was yelling at my kids. Matter a fact, towards Liam. Like what the fuck, they aren’t calling your name. They are saying something from a damn TV SHOW. They are not teasing your name. Even if they were, they’re just kids. The way my nephew says my name is different but I don’t yell or get mad at him. Kids are kids, GET OVER IT. Whatever attitude you bring to the house, take it somewhere else. I don’t get mad at your kids when I see mess. I don’t get mad at them the way I do with my kids to clean up after themselves. Because to be honest, that’s your part to deal with. I respected you in so many ways, most especially because you’re older than me. But this has crossed the line. You’re lucky I didn’t say anything because Ty was already saying shit to you. I’ll let it go this time, but just know you lost the respect I had for you and you only, not your wife and kids.

Quick update because it’s been 2 years. As you know, Liam is my oldest child who is now 5 years old. Violet is my 2nd child who is now 2 years old. And Chasity is my 3rd child who will turn 1 in 2 days. And then there’s Mr. Tyrone Ongesii, who was there when I was at my worst. Who turned my life the other way around. Who made me noticed that there’s more to life than I could ever imagine. Who gave me strength and hope. And who loves and cares me and the 3 kids. And yes, his very first child is Chasity. But he also considers Liam & Violet as his very own. We came a long way and I cannot imagine how life would be if it went the other way around. I thank GOD for being there for me through the toughest times because my life was in GOD’s hands. I TRULY found my happiness once again. 

Work is work. But we need a break from it when we can. If you’re that workaholic type of person, then good for you. But it does not happen to everyone. There’s more to life than just work. It’s easier said, then done. Trust me, I know. I work  because I need the money. Don’t we all? And if we don’t work, how else are we going to get paid? Money does not fall from the sky. We work for different reasons, who knows, could be the same reasons. But above all that, we should live life to the fullest and most importantly think about our health first before the job. Because to be honest, I feel sorry for those who need to take leave for medical reasons. Some managers won’t approve it or some won’t let them go for that long. For some managers that do the opposite, props to you. Because like what everyone says, HEALTH COMES FIRST.
